Sheila’s weekly update 42: In the gallery and on the square
This week I share news about my trip earlier this week to The Stable gallery in Inveraray to drop off some pieces with them, and also about the Art on in Exchange event this week in Royal Exchange Square in Glasgow. On Sunday I’ll have some work on the Saltspace stand and will be there in person in the afternoon helping out on the stand. Why not swing by if you are nearby.

Would love to hear your thoughts on what I’ve been sharing too, so we can extend the conversation.

Sheila’s weekly update 32: Back to life . . .
This week I share some thoughts about being back in the life drawing studio. It was so lovely to be back in the studio, not viewing through zoom, this week. I need that connection with a life (live) model. I’ve also be exploring the Story of Scottish Art by Lauchlin Gaudie. I remember enjoying the TV series but I’m also enjoying the book too. Worth checking out.

I share some of my struggles this week and also some of the books I’m reading, Art and Fear, and Blink . Both relevant to developing artistic practice and dealing with the emotions of others.
