This week I am mindful that it is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek. I’ve been sharing some posts on instagram this week based on that. This year’s theme is nature, which is central to my work and my physical and mental well being. Particularly during lock down where I gained much richer connection with my immediate environment which really helped me creatively and personally. This week I’m delighted to share that I have been selected to be part of the NewPlatform Art professional development programme for emerging artists. Sheila’s weekly update 30: Instagram Live!
So this week is a bit different as this week I did my first ever Instagram Live broadcast. I’m delighted to be part of a small group of fellow artists who, over the next month, are going to interview each other about their work and practice. I had a really lovely conversation with the very talented Siusan Paterson, and we even had some people watch live and ask some questions.
