Sheila’s weekly update 30: Instagram Live!

So this week is a bit different as this week I did my first ever Instagram Live broadcast. I’m delighted to be part of a small group of fellow artists who, over the next month, are going to interview each other about their work and practice. I had a really lovely conversation with the very talented Siusan Paterson, and we even had some people watch live and ask some questions.

There were a few things about IG live that I couldn’t figure out – like how to give Siusan co-host status so she could have share some pictures of my work. I also don’t know who to edit the recording, so there is quite a bit of me staring at the screen and too much of my double chin for the first minute or two. However once we got going I really enjoyed the experience. I’m looking forward to being an interviewer, but more importantly watching, and getting to know my fellow artists better over the coming weeks.
