Sheila’s weekly update 89: More inspiration from unexpected places

This week I’ve been starting to think about how to use the outputs from my my eco-printing experiments. It’s all got a little bit meta as I have been making additional prints based on the eco-prints. But the what is starting to take a bit more time is some new collages, which are being anchored by the image I could see that the imprints from my printing experiments made on the studio table. It’s so easy to overlook the patterns and shapes which are created almost as byproducts from one technique. Just like my series of landscapes based on the chalk at the bottom of the easel after life drawing classes last year, I think this table pattern is another hidden gem that I can incorporate into a series of collages. It’s all very exciting and I am really enjoying where this journey is taking me and my work.
