Sheila’s weekly update 86: open studio weekend

I’ve been having a busy couple of weeks and so didn’t quite manage to get an update done last week. However, normal service resuming today! This weekend, as part of the Glasgow Doors Open Festival, our studio space is open to visitors. I’m quite excited about people coming to see the whole space as well as my little corner of it. If you are coming along we are in the Dornoch Street Studios, G40 2QT (nearest train station is Bridgeton).

Saltpace is quite active over the festival, not only are our studios open, but we also have our annual members show running over the weekend too. In Finite Worlds, features the work of over 40 members and is open in the High Street Gallery until 19th September. I helped with a bit of the install earlier in the week, and the range and quality of the work is pretty good!
